Just to inspire any parents out there with small kids, here's a pic of Aden (centre) getting ready for his first ever Cyclo-Cross race, a couple of weeks ago at Hilton Fields Farm, Derbyshire. He signed on as Beeston.cc, wore his BCC t-shirt with pride, and came 5th out of 6. So not last then, that's what we thought!
The atmosphere for this beginners race was very supportive, taking place before the main crowds had even arrived, and I think he's got the bug! Next up, Allestree Park on 1st October.
Anyone with young kids want to give them their first taste of CX at Allestree on Saturday?
