Cold and lumpy today, and that wasn't just my porridge. Nice to see Stewart, and thanks for patiently waiting at the end Russ - it wouldn't have been so long if I hadn't got that puncture with just 3 miles to go!
Good ride, though I think doing it on a mountain bike with 2.35 tyres on was a bit of a mistake! Not overly warm, though the views were fantastic, large number of birds of prey! Average speed only 14.1!
Good to see both Paul and Russ, though we need to get more CC riders out!
I echo the above. Lumpy from start to finish. Surprisingly warm. I totally overheated. 104 started / finished but 70 wimps DNS'd.
