Which one are you thinking of doing Russ?

newsonoid18:58 Mon 16 Jan

The 80 miler.

climberruss23:01 Mon 16 Jan

Paul, if you're up for this I'll drop down and do the 65 miler. Please let me know as I will enter this weekend.
Anybody else fancy this one?

climberruss08:42 Thu 2 Feb

I'll let you know tomorrow. I have it in my 'training diary' already, though my 'training' so far as been next to non-existant! I see the Crippler goes up Harby Hill at the end, but the 'Leg breaker' may be a more realistic challenge.

newsonoid13:00 Thu 2 Feb

Ok I'm in for the 65 miler. Will get in touch re transport etc.

newsonoid18:07 Thu 2 Feb

OK, thats me and Paul entered, who else is up for it? (the 65 miler).

The time limits for this are:
80 mile = 6'30" (1233m climbing)
65 mile = 5'30" (943)
50 mile = 4'30" (771)
36 mile = 4' (401).

That's total time including stops. But you do get a certificate!

Thats about the time you did yesterday Paul. No messing next week = you'll have to push it a bit ;-) Less climbing though! That should get you down to about 4:30.

Anybody else fancy this?

My daughter's back from Uni for the weekend so busy this Sunday... Have a good one

Have you pre-entered or are you confident there will be spaces on the line?

mikew09:35 Thu 16 Feb

Russ and I have pre-entered, but there are still spaces left according to the website. They limit it to 200 for catering, but I think it would be a fairly safe bet to just roll up on the day.

A good ride with a nice route. Not quite as hilly as last weeks audax. A beautiful sunny (but cold) day gave some great views from the ridge between John O'Gaunt and Somerby.

And we got a certificate for making the time!
